Any agent participating in the drafting of the budget is a potential PGEnet user, who can access from his/her desktop all past information on the budgets in the same way in which they were approved.
Moreover, during the drafting process, the users participating in the latter (Directorate General of Budgets, budget offices of government departments, management centres...) can make instantaneous queries of the status of the data, since it is retrieved from the transactional systems.
The system is therefore aimed at a varied user profile:
- Staff involved in the drafting of budgets both at the Directorate General of Budgets and at budget offices, in order to obtain updated information reports.
- Staff responsible for the documentation added to the financial statements to draw up the draft State Budget Law (and the actual Law).
- Printing staff at the Ministry of the Treasury and Public Administration, who use the system to receive documents that must be printed in order to create the volumes of the State Budget Law.
- In general, anyone interested in consulting historical information on the State Budget Laws.
