INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The working environment in which it is guaranteed to operate properly is:
Microsoft Windows 2000
Microsoft Word Office 2000
In order to leverage functionality in the use of Word templates, the files supplied (extension .dot) should be unzipped and copied to the user's Word template directory. This directory is different depending on the operating system used. In Windows 2000 (in Spanish) it is normally the %USERPROFILE%\Datos de programa\Microsoft\Plantillas directory, where %USERPROFILE% is an environment variable in the system that indicates the user's work directory.
Once the files have been installed to this directory they can be used to create a new Word document.
The files provided uses a set of macros. To run them, Word security must be set to medium or low. In the medium level, Word will ask the user if they wish to enable them whenever a document containing them is used («open with macros»). In the low level they will always be enabled. To establish the safety level, access the tools menu, then macros and security.
